CPU'S & MOTHERBOARD
At CES, Intel demonstrated a proof-of-concept PC, specifically built to counter AMD's 4x4 platform for gamers. Called the 'V8' system, the PC runs on a pair of quad core Kentsfield Xeon processors taking the number of physical cores to eight.
The system runs at 2.4 GHz utilizing 1066 MHz system bus and uses FB-DIMM memory. The graphic support is in the form of a single 8800GTX card. According to Intel, the system gave a score of 6089 on 3DMark CPU bench.
Dual processor systems have not been as popular as they used to be since the advent of dual core systems, besides dual core systems turned out to be more expensive and needed a higher level of expertise. AMD's 4x4 system officially called as the Quad FX can work with regular unbuffered memory as opposed to Intel's V8 that requires FB-DIMMs. Besides the Quad FX can also take dual graphic cards in SLI whereas the V8 currently supports only a single graphics card.

Petronas Towers

At 1483 feet (452m) tall, the tallest building in the world at the date of its completion, measured to the highest point. However, the Sears Tower in Chicago still has the highest occupied building floor, more than 200 feet higher than the highest occupied floor of the Petronas Towers.
Details
The towers have 32,000 windows.
— Judith Dupre, Skyscrapers.
Each of the twin Petronas Towers is 88 stories plus an additional architectural point (at 1242 feet), plus a tall spire to 1483 feet. Compare to the Sears Tower in Chicago which is 110 stories, and the twin World Trade Center towers in New York, which were each 110 stories. Although these other skyscrapers were created with higher occupied floors, they are not considered as tall under the arcane rules used for rating the world's tallest, according to which architectural spires count towards building height, but antennas atop a building do notScientific Achievements: New Inventions And Discoveries
In the world of science and technology, the Internet offers information about the triumphs of the past and the promise of the future.
Throughout history, the discoveries and inventions put forth in the field of science have determined, to a large extent, the ways in which we live our lives. From the first measurements of time, which were crudely constructed calendars some 20,000 years ago, science has had a significant impact on our daily routines. It is through science that we are able to explore and discover the world around us and to learn how we affect that world and how it affects us.
Some of the more monumental scientific achievements have altered previously unquestioned notions of human existence. Prior to the invention of the telescope, it was widely accepted (and enforced) that Earth was the center of the universe and all planetary bodies thus revolved around it. It was through the use of the telescope that the heliocentric theory of the universe was finally proven beyond refute.
Advances in science have also been a driving force in the field of medicine. Similar to the telescope, the microscope opened up an entirely new world to scientists. With the power to study microscopic particles, bacteria, cells, and the like, scientists were able to better understand the human body and the illnesses that affect it. The field of medicine continues to be on the leading edge of scientific discovery, with new cures and new diseases being discovered almost daily.

When you think of the amount of money that was once being asked for the older Nokia N93, the ex-flagship N-series model from Nokia, you can’t help but writhe at its look. I mean, Rs. 38,000 for that big black piece of a brick? Come on.
